Fellow capsuleers, duty forces me to bring this disturbing news to your attention!
The current economic meltdown was deliberatly caused!
This meltdown began as a slow and steady decline in the average price of high end minerals such as zydrine and megacyte. In the months since, this instability has spread to all sectors of the market, which has caused a chain-reaction. From the largest Caldari manufacturing conglomerates to the smallest mom-and-pop cargo haulers operating in the fringes of known space, this bizarre market correction has led to the loss of untold fortunes and the livelihoods of countless men and women.
At first, and like most people, I believed the economists when they claimed that this downward trend in the market was caused by the sudden and unprecedented availability of wormhole minerals. After several months though this explanation has worn thin. . . . after careful and exhaustive research I have discovered the true cause of this wildly volitile market:
INTREPID CROSSING ALLIANCE
As the major power in the drone regions, Intrepid Crossing has a virtual stranglehold over the single richest source of mineral wealth in the universe. In less than a year they have grown from a small battered group of refugees, to become one of the ten largest alliances in all of EvE. Their unified operational structure allows them to literally drop millions of units of top tier minerals on the market each week.
On behalf of all the small manufacturers in the Empire regions, and the pocketbooks of every capsuleer, I am calling for the destruction of Intrepid Crossing! No single power-block should be allowed to control such a strategic resource, certainly not an alliance that is little more than a fancified meatshield for the russians!
They are already dug in like a tick, and the longer they are allowed to live, the more the mineral prices will drop and the greater their control of our economy becomes! Destroy them now, before the destroy the bright promise that is our future!
